Styles: Pop, Folk, Classical, Jazz, Blues, am asked to perform with artists of many different styles.
* I perform as a solo artist singing an accompanying myself on the cello under the stage name Laura Victoria.
* A voice and a cello: Songs of love affairs, shipwrecks, imaginary worlds and cups of tea brought to life by unusual cello playing that veers between moving melancholy airs, punchy rock riffing and slap bass.
* I studied music at university and have been gigging professionally for the past ten years. I have taken part in many photo shoots, especially as a performer and am happy in front of the camera.
* I have supported and performed on stage with the following artists:
Sting, Mercury Music Prize nominees The Portico Quartet, BBC Folk Award Winner Jackie Oates, Malian Musicians Tinariwen, respected Northumbrian folk musician Kathryn Tickell, Irish singer Cara Dillon, The English Concert Orchestra… I have performed for and met the Queen!
* I recently starred, choreographed and danced in my own music video!
